Behar Abbasi was born in Nineveh, Iraq and graduated from Mosul University in 2013 at the age of 29 with a Masters Degree in Medical Science.
She has worked in Aleppo, Syria as a surgical nurse trainee then as a Registered Surgical Nurse. Later when ISIS was driven from Mosul she returned to her university and attended the Medical School, Mosul University. She interned with the late Dr. Buni Nemef in Mosul, Iraq, Idlib and Dier Ezzor, Syria.
Severe malnutrition in Yemen is the hallmark of American sanctions in many countries.
Behar Abbasi
It had been early 2013 when Behar first returned to Mosul to finally graduate and take more courses and at the same time joined Dr. Buni’s The RINJ Foundation working part-time at a women’s clinic opposite IBN Sina hospital and the Alshohada Bridge, Mosul, mostly working as a OBGYN with hospital privileges but also learning and practicing. She continued her studies after ISIS was driven from Mosul, to become a trauma surgeon. She received her MD certification in Yemen in 2019. She works in Iran, Palestine, Syria as a doctor or Nurse Practitioner depending on insurance fees and the need involved for a training supervisor for the RINJ Foundation unit, The Nurses Without Borders and has not returned to Mosul, Iraq for personal reasons.
It wasn’t until 2018 after taking an advanced course in English that Behar tackled the task of writing articles for Feminine Perspective Magazine. Her first love, however, is teaching nurses and other medical workers to care for women and child patients in war zones, and doing that work herself.

Dr. Behar’s nurse since 2018 is Nurse A’isha. Today Nurse Aisha delivered a Gaza baby from the womb of a starving mother in Rafah.

Aisha prepares to travel with a small child to see her mother after a year’s absence. There’s quite a story behind this case.

Behar and A’isha were recently in 2025 entering North Gaza by night where they have been forbidden and told they will be killed like their colleagues. The North Gaza clinic had been in place since a decade ago, had moved twice, and the physical plant was donated by locals.
A’isha’s Humble Story in her own words.
“I am me and we are one, me and my doctor Behar, together in wars where we have helped by now, thousands of women, girls and their babies survive. It’s not like we are Doctor and Nurse team, we are bonded as one through infinity now.
“The North Gaza unit has always been led and attended from time to time by then RINJ Foundation our beloved Medical Director Dr. Buni Nemef from Syria. The late Dr. Buni Nemef was my teacher in Mosul, Iraq.
On 7 March 2024, a little before the Butcher of Tehran was involved in a crash in May 2024 in his old helicopter, at least 30 people were killed at the clinic when an American 500-pound JDAM bomb did the slaughter of over thirty people including a dozen infants.
The only place there was a mention of Vaccination Day being Thursday 7 March was on Microsoft’s cloud computers as internal documents. At first we thought the Iranians were responsible in some way because Behar Abbasi had founded the Women-Life-Freedom Resistance Group (known as WLF internally). We later found out that Microsoft was selling this information to the Israelis and that the super computers were in Israel. But we already had enough reason to be angry with the Butcher of Tehran, who if the truth be known fully, had killed by his orders hundreds of school girls and thousands raped and beaten. He was the ultimate murderous scumbag. Good riddance is my opinion,” writes A’isha.
“When our birthing facility was bombed on 7 March 2024, a place I had worked many times, this little girl in the original picture had wandered out of the birthing clinic while her six-month old baby brother was being vaccinated on that Thursday. At first the mom did not know her daughter had left the sally port area where she was to be watched by an extremely busy security guard, but another woman came in with an infant and noted that she had seen our little girl we shall call Elise, playing with some nice local boys in the wreckage nearby.
“The mom of Elise left the now deceased baby with the now-deceased nurse and ran after her little Elise because the area around the clinic was in ruins and typically, older children played in the wreckage and were often hurt by shards of metal and brick.
“So this is the important story of how two lives were saved by Allah’s wisdom and intervention, I believe, because no human did this miracle. I did not need to ask Dr. Abbasi twice to go this journey. She said she would do this for Dr. B. whom she interned with many years ago in Syria and where I first met Behar.
“We have decided to complete the miracle, the first part being the miraculous survival of mom and daughter, the finding of Elise in Khan Yunis far from her mother, many months later, then finding out her mom was alive—tears in my eye make it hard to write this on my phone— and travel the length of Gaza and get Elise home. Which we did.
“I have a feeling that if I die tomorrow, I will have done what was intended for me to accomplish on this Earth, the experience with the beautiful souls of Elise and her mother. From the reaction of Elise’s mother and her community which met us at different times on the two days of Elise’s arrival celebration, I learned how precious their children’s lives are for these women.
“I have vowed to only help women and children and never selfishly have my own children because I am needed to do my work which because everyone who wants to kill Arabs, us all, would orphan my child in retaliation for my delivering more babies in these parts.”
By A’isha and for Behar.
* “We hold Joseph Biden, Kamala Harris and Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for killing with U.S. bombs and targeting and personal data from Amazon, Palantir, Microsoft, Google, and NSO Group targeting data for over 30 persons including 5 medical workers one of them American, 12 infants, two male parents, and fifteen women including five grandmothers at our clinic in north Gaza on the proclaimed Vaccination Day 7 March 2024. Earlier that day there had been over fifty persons present, families lining up with infants to get free full sets of infants first vaccinations including their Polio shot,” said Ms. Geraldine Frisque, spokesperson for The RINJ Foundation, publisher of Feminine-Perspective Magazine.
In her own words:
What is most important to me today is finding peace and safety for women, children and their families in Yemen and among Yemen’s allies in the Arab and Persian worlds.
